Bedfordshire Fire service have published a campaign for Candle Fire Safety over the festive season.
For full details :-
A new two-minute online test and self-help website has been launched today (Monday 9 February) which can identify the early signs of harmful drinking and increased risk levels.
The DontBottleItUp.org.uk website can provide non-judgmental advice and support for individuals to help reduce their alcohol consumption as well as signposting to local alcohol support services, if required.
The test contains ten multiple choice questions on the amount and frequency of alcohol consumption, drinking behaviour and alcohol-related problems and, once completed, the Don’tBottleItUp website can connect people to specialist alcohol services in their area.
Designed to appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds, but especially to individuals who may not be aware of how much they are drinking or the consequences of this behaviour, the website also offers guidance at the click of a button, such as:
• Tips for cutting down
• Help and support
• How to help someone else
• Treatment for alcohol use
• Giving up drinking
• Key facts about alcohol
